Introducing: the Global Sales department

Part 4: Business Development

 

The Business Development team is responsible for developing two business areas:

  • The cardiovascular segment with the Endovascular Navigation, Therenva EndoNaut and EndoSize, as well as the mobile CathLab solutions – overseen by Tim Gerhard.
  • The specific imaging of extremities with the Orthoscan portfolio of mini C-arms – overseen by Sebastian Gründler.

The team's work helps to strategically position the imaging solutions in selected countries and establish them on the market. Specifically, the team carries out market and competition analyses, and the results are used both to define new business areas and to develop growth strategies.

For new product launches, the Business Development team devises the procedure for market entry and follows it every step of the way.

Throughout the year, the team acts as a central interface between our distributors and the sales network of our partner companies, supporting them with training and sales-related measures, for example.

A key success factor is active networking, including participation in trade fairs and conferences as well as working closely with our daughter companies Therenva and Orthoscan.
